Section 38
Period during which the building should be constructed
(1) A person or a government office who has been granted permission to construct a building shall construct such a building within two years from the date of obtaining such permission.
(2) If it is not possible to construct the building within the period specified in sub-section (1), an application for extension of the period shall be submitted to the Chief Administrative Officer before the expiry of the said period.
(3) If any application is received according to sub-section (2), the chief administrative officer may extend the deadline for construction of the building for two years by taking a fee of five percent of the previous fee.
